PolyPDEs: Non-conforming polyhedral finite element methods for the approximation of partial differential equations”,
funded by MIUR-Ministero dell’Istruzione dell’Università e della Ricerca within the SIR (Scientific Independence of young Researchers) 2014 Programme.
The project PolyPDEs is among the 144 selected out of 5252 proposals in the various fields of Sciences and Humanities (success rate 2.7%).
PolyPDEs aims at developing and analysing a new class of high-order non-conforming numerical methods on polytopal grids
for the numerical solutions of partial differential equations and applying these innovative methodologies to the
simulation of earthquake scenarios in moderate-to-high Italian seismic areas.
